Shoot: Chop, Chop x Starbucks Tuesday, November 8, 2016

My classes officially started yesterday, which means I just have a few hours left with my freedom. My last semester is all about review and studying for mock boards so I really haffta study to graduate. So, I'd just like to say, at most, probably, I'd post less. I also wanted to follow my professor's advice to do your extra curricular things on the weekends, because our bodies also need to rest. Anyway, this wasn't really the topic. The thing is, I chopped my hair short(!)... again!

2015 v 2016 cut
Although you guys haven't seen my first ever decision-to-cut-short hair, I want to let you know that I did and the only reason for that was I wanted a new look for 2016. This time, it's almost the same, but it's for my last semester in college and because I want my hair to be in the length I want for graduation. The difference is, it got way shorter than last year!
My Two Cents

It doesn't feel hot. A few weeks before I cut my hair, I was already tying it up in a bun or a ponytail. Maybe I wasn't used to long hair, but it feels so much hotter (especially when I'm at home) than it ever was. Now, I don't have to tie my hair!
Easier to comb. This is actually one of the best things I like about having short hair. I just love the feeling that I wouldn't take long combing my long tangled hair. It feels much more lighter.

Short Side Story

I had a bob cut hair in my whole grade school life. I resented it so much and I had no choice because my father always wanted me to have it cut. I don't know how I survived it though. I always wanted to have a long hair because back then I believed I'd be prettier if I did, but yeah, Dad felt otherwise. So when I entered high school, I had my hair done and made it long. I thought I was already old enough to stand up on my hair so maybe that's why dad didn't bother with my hair again. And now, I never thought I'd have my hair short because I really really really hated it throughout the years. Ironic?

Starbucks Shoot

Craving for another shoot was the same feels for how many days, but I couldn't do it without my best friend not having any camera. In dire need to satisfy my cravings and starting with a December goal, we decided to shoot at Starbucks. Good thing our other best friend, Khely, was up for it. Oh and I also tagged along because I wanted to shoot with my new shorter than ever, hair.

to emphasize how short it is

meet Khely, she's not grumpy or snob guys

I believe she can be a good model of Starbucks haha!
For my photos, Ell took them and I took Khely's since Ell already left at that time. It was a short yet fun shoot and I wanted more! With my future frequent visits at Starbucks, I'm pretty sure there'd be another shoot like this. Hopefully, with a nice touch of weather.

Edit: So I added my before photos, when I still had long hair. Whaddya think?
